Swim Instructor

**Job Summary**

**hours are based in willand EX15 2RL a small private holiday let pool. Also have hours available in Taunton area.**
you will be teaching small group classes of 6 per class, with a swim assistant in the pool with you.
weekday evening hours are 3.45pm - 6.15pm Tuesday-Friday and Sunday morning 10-1pm (term time only)

**Duties**
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the varying skill levels of participants.
- Educate swimmers on water safety, proper techniques, and the importance of fitness through swimming.
- Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate fun activities while promoting skill development.
- Monitor the progress of each swimmer and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a safe and clean pool environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance instructional skills.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both children and adults.
- A background in education or child development would be advantageous.
- Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is desirable but can be obtained upon hiring.

Pay: £16.00-£22.00 per hour
