Strapping Operators

We are looking to recruit a number of Operators to assist with the strapping of concrete tunnel segments destined for HS2. This role requires a fine eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently as a team that produces consistent work within a rigid set of guidelines. Working safely you will be part of a team delivering a first class service to our customer. The role involves being physically active and working outdoors.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the loading of concrete tunnel segments
- Setting out the equipment prior to the starting of the strapping process
- Strapping the tunnel segments to the carrier cassettes mounted to the wagons
- Ensuring the secured segments are compliant with loading guidelines
- Undertaking Seasonal Operator duties

**Qualifications**
- Desirable to have a railway background
- Desirable to have PTS/Sentinel
- Experience of working as part of a team in a safety critical, time sensitive environment
- Experience of working to strict rules and guidelines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £29,025.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
