**Devops Engineer**:

- This role will be based in our Clearwater Court, Reading. However, there is an option for hybrid working._

The role will provide exciting challenges and experiences as we progress towards a digital first, data driven business. You will work with interesting datasets including asset health, operations, geographical and people to help achieve improvements to real-worldproblems including leakage, pollution, efficiency, and customer service.
**What you will be doing**:

- Improve, maintain and regulate automated DevOps processes.
- Provide delivery support to several data products, triaging build, deployment, configuration and testing issues during production updates.
- Provide consultations and guidance to enable and adopt new Azure services and technologies to preserve autonomous builds, deployments, configuration and testing.
- Accelerate the inception of new data products, assisting in the provisioning/configuring of environments and its resources as well as their CI/CD requirements; repositories/branches, build/deploy/test pipelines.
- Produce DevOps documents detailing DevOps practices enforced.
- Support cross team collaboration to rollout an effective DevOps strategy within the organisation.
- Weekly rehearsals and production delivery updates of our data platforms.

**What you should bring to this role**:

- Demonstrate a good understanding of DevOps best practices and the techniques/tools used to enforce them
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with customer focus approach and commitment
- Able to self-organize and keen to share knowledge through documentation and mentoring
- Understand infrastructure as a code (IaC) in the cloud using tools such as Terraform.
- 2+ years of relevant DevOps Experience
