**Data Centre Technician - Slough / Woking / London** **The Company**

We are working with a company that has been at the forefront of innovation within the built environments for over 3 decades. The company focus on delivery smart building technology projects and they have found themselves spending more and more time in therecent years doing specialist project works within Data Centres across London and the surrounding areas.

**The Position**

We are looking for a Data Centre Technician to join the team based in the West London area. This team work on several Data Centre focused projects and this person would be involved in a vast array of IT and cabling based tasks involved in keeping the DataCentres running smoothly. You would be expected to work at speed and with a high level of accuracy often responding to company tickets and issues that arise.

This role would be ideal for someone from a strong IT / Cabling background either from within Data Centres or a similar Critical and/or commercial industry that wants to develop their skills at a cutting edge company. This business invests heavily withinits teams and this would again be a great starting point for someone entering the industry.

**Could this be for you?**

Qualifications & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure and experiences in areas such as racking, stacking and cable management.
- Have strong communication and customer facing skills
- A good experience in dealing with various types of customers and an ability to think of their feet.
