**About the role and our team**

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our dynamic and passionate team within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards (Ward 11 & 12) at Noble’s Hospital

This role will require you to have a caring attitude with effective interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be engaging with patients and their family and friends.

Day to day, some of your duties will include:

- Assisting Registered Practitioners in the delivery of care to all patients
- Performing, monitoring and recording basic observations
- Assisting with personal and oral hygiene
- Maintaining accurate written records
- Assisting with dietary and nutritional needs
- Maintaining ward stock levels

Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting would be advantageous but is not essential, as training opportunities to develop or extend your skills will be provided.

You don’t need any qualifications for this role and you will receive comprehensive on the job training. There are plenty of development opportunities, from completing qualifications such as NVQ in Health and Social Care to attending relevant training courses to help you excel in your role.

**Additional information**

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Manx Care will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A uniform will also be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
