Summary

We are looking to recruit Skilled Tradespersons to join our Property Services Team, assisting the team to deliver a high-quality repairs service to our customers and our void properties.

**About the Role**

This will be a varied role, that will include delivery of reactive maintenance works, preparation of void properties for re-letting and working within communal areas to enhance accommodation for our customers.

You will be required to ensure works are carried out as per instruction and with adherence to all health and safety, and safe working practices. Thereis an expectation that you will be able to problem solve and alter any specification of works to complete your work satisfactorily ensuring right first time.

Operatives in this role will also have shared responsibility for the maintenance and safe storage of all associated vehicles, tools, and equipment.

**About You**

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years post qualification experience in the construction industry and will have gained experience with other trade backgrounds.

You will possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise with all stakeholders. This will include liaising with colleagues across the council as well as all aspects of the housing team, tenants, and subcontractors.
