**The Role**:
Working in a small team based in our Cannon Park Depot in Middlesbrough. The purpose of the role of Technical Admin Assistant is to provide a range of technical administrative assistance to a specialist department servicing our operational colleagues, and to contribute to the achievement of departmental and business-wide objectives.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Operates office systems, to process work, maintain accurate records and access information in support of departmental activities.
- Provides effective administrative support in providing an efficient and effective service to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.
- Resolves enquiries from both internal and external sources.
- Compiles and provides Safe Control of Operations (SCO) information using computer systems as necessary in accordance with relevant procedures and guidelines, in order to provide management with the information they need to effectively make decisions.
- Assists in supporting departmental activities by carrying out routine and technical administrative duties, such as receiving and collating information and processing documents and correspondence.
- Operate in compliance with NGN policy and procedures, including data protection and information security policy.
- General Ad Hoc administration work as and when required.

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent Communication skills (written /oral).
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- An understanding (desirable/but not essential) of the gas industry and Safe Control of Operations.
- A good team player with strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Flexible approach to working across broad topic areas, locations and meeting tight timescales.
