Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Band 2 Medical Lab Assistant to work based in Salford. The postholder will be required to cooperate, communicate, and interact with all grades of staff to deliver a quality and timely service.

The pay rate for this locum Medical Lab Assistant job is £12 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

**Requirements of the Medical Lab Assistant**:

- HCPC registered/must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, accurate data entry & efficient typing skills
- Requires base level theoretical knowledge to enable processing of patient samples under basic analytical processes.
- Previous Microbiology laboratory experience is required.
