We are currently looking for a **Team Leader - Assembly - Chippenham** to join us. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

**The Role**

To organise and control the day to day activities of the Assembly Department to deliver the planned production schedules and achieve all health and safety objectives.

Manage the day to day activities of Assembly department.

To locate and schedule product into Assembly department (KIT MARSHALLING)

In conjuction with the department supervisor, manage a team of production operators.

In conjunction with departmental supervisor assist with Bi-weekly and monthly stock checks of WIP and components materials including packing.

Carry out safety and quality audits/checks as required.

Lead by example - demonstrate exemplary behaviours in line with Orbia’s values

Ensure all WIP and ancillary components are available to achieve the production plan.

Deputise for the department Supervisor as required.

Assist the Supervisor to develop improvement plans to ensure departmental objectives are implemented, monitored and continually improved within the Chippenham site.

**Main Responsibilities**
- All production orders are receipted correctly Assembly departments outputs cover the production plan requirements Exceptions reported to Assembly Supervisor.
- Adherence to level 1 HSE responsibilities.
- All accidents/near miss reported and paperwork complete in a timely manner.
- All non-conforming incidents reported and relevant paperwork completed with team members.
- Behavioural and safety audits completed to plan.
- Ensure all production and process recording systems are completed accurately.
- Ensure that any issues are being highlighted to the appropriate support function.
- Attendance and participation in improvement teams.
- Undertake training as identified by factory management.

**Profile**
- General secondary education.
- Experience of managing a team - Desirable.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- The ability to accurately manage and control stock levels of multiple materials.
- Must be able to plan and organise activities of self to achieve a balance of proactive and reactive tasks.
- Practical experience of assembly operations - Desirable Practical experience of work scheduling, workstation planning and stock control.
- Previous SAP and Microsoft Office experience.
- IOSH Certification - Desirable
- Green Belt Training - Desirable
