**The Role**:
We are hiring for an experienced Delivery Lead who will be responsible for the delivery of all projects, programmes and small change within their business area of Digital, Commercial & Merchandising

This role is responsible for the overall running of the delivery function, ensuring the delivery team is sized according to demand and in line with the agreed budget. Working closely with the Centre of Technology Director, the role is responsible for ensuring there is enough capacity and capability to deliver the agreed demand and specific project/s. The role will require management of Permanent & Contracted Project Managers and as a project-based role, budgets will vary depending on the nature of the change. There will be occasional travel involved with this role.

**Role Responsibilities**:
The Delivery Lead works closely with the Centre of Technology Director, Product Support Manager and Solution Leader to translate requirements into reality. It is their responsibility to:

- Lead a delivery function and manage multiple Project Managers
- Directly manage Projects as required
- Effectively manage key business stakeholders to ensure continued engagement for project duration.
- Adhere to project governance standards and compliance. Set up appropriate project governance as necessary
- Management of programme budgets
- Successfully implement changes into BAU and Product Support Teams
- Escalate Programme level: Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resources with options for decision making
- Own the delivery roadmap aligned to resource and budget
- Represent the vertically aligned Capability from a Delivery perspective with senior business stakeholders

**Knowledge, skills, experience, and competencies**

You will have strong Portfolio or Programme Management experience in Technology delivery - preferably in Digital or Commercial facing solutions.

You will have exposure to varying delivery methodologies and techniques including both Waterfall and Agile.

You will have strong Stakeholder and Line Management experience.

You have experience with demand, pipeline, and resource management - including internal/third parties.

You consider yourself a strategic thinker, who loves problem-solving, and has a continuous improvement mindset.

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
