A true Account Manager role where your relationships with clients are at the forefront of everything you do. You will be joining a very successful company who are an industry leading supplier of composites to the rail infrastructure industry.
You will be taking care of the companies relationships with designers, engineers and contractors within the Rail industry, ensuring you have a deep understanding of project requirements and working to ensure your clients are receiving the best product for theirneeds. This is a very consultative position where you will be with your clients from enquiry through to project completion and on hand to resolve any issues thoughtfully and quickly.
You will have the use of a CRM system to track enquiries and tender submissions, these guys have a fantastic reputation in the industry and aim to be the go-to supplier of choice in what they do.
Day to day activities within the role will be:

- Converting leads to orders by building strong relationships
Delivering first class customer service to clients and ensuring their needs are met and providing support and assistance wherever needed
Deliver on sector sales and profit targets both as part of a team and individually
Provide weekly updates on projects and opportunities to the team and management
Support design agencies in speccing your product
Keep accurate administration in respect of your leads, opportunities, quotes and orders updates via CRM system
The office is based in Clacton, but you will be out at projects lots of the time once you are comfortable, of course you will be accompanied within your first few months whilst you are learning the ropes.

We need at least 5 years experience working in Rail Infrastructure / Civils, GRP Technical product and sales knowledge would be highly desirable. You will of course have several years of experience building strong and most importantly authentic client relationshipsand be able to demonstrate excellent communication and professionalism along with great judgment, organisation and decision-making skills.
