**Responsibilities**
- Deliver one-on-one, personalised tutoring sessions to students in the Abingdon, Wallingford, Wantage, and Didcot areas.
- Design engaging, customised lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and abilities.
- Educate students on effective study techniques and test-taking strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas needing attention.
- Provide support for students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods as required.
- Foster a positive, motivating learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with the Alpha team, ensuring a seamless student experience.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Biology or a related Science field.
- Commitment to helping students achieve academic success and build confidence.
- Ability to travel within the Abingdon, Wallingford, Wantage, and Didcot areas, including surrounding villages.
- A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to acquire one).
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Must be able to work on a self-employed contract.
- Strong tutoring skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and parents.
- Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous.
