**English Tutor - Part Time - Leeds Training Centre - Salary 28-34k per annum (FTE)**

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Delivering High-Quality Training**: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative sessions to Recruitment apprentices, ensuring that learning outcomes are met, and learners are motivated and supported throughout their apprenticeship.
- **Assessment and Feedback**: Assess learners’ work in line with awarding body requirements, providing constructive feedback and setting SMART targets to support progression.
- **Curriculum Development**: Contribute to the development and review of the curriculum to ensure it is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
- **Support and Mentoring**: Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring to learners, helping them to overcome any barriers to learning and achieve their qualifications.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner progress, attendance, and assessments, in accordance with Juniper Training’s policies and procedures.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with colleagues, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless delivery of the apprenticeship program and promote best practices.
- **CPD**: Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry changes, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Experience of working as a English Tutor/Functional Skills Tutor/Teacher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Competent IT skills for delivering online learning and maintaining learner records.
