**Receptionist**
**Location: The Wilmslow Hospital**
**Full time 37.5 Hours per week Monday to Sunday,**

**Shifts can be between: 6am to 2pm / 8am to 4pm / 10am to 6pm / 11am to 7pm / **12pm to 8pm / 1pm to 9pm**
**Salary Range**:Starting From £19,000** dependent upon skills and experience + fantastic benefits**

**About the Role**

Receptionist is to provide a full range of administrative/receptionist duties for The Wilmslow Hospital in order to support the department/unit to deliver an excellent service to all our stakeholders. Receptionist ensures the smooth and efficient running of all outpatient clinics, day case and inpatient admissions.

**Duties**:

- Meet and greet patients, visitors, consultants and staff and deal with their enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Maintain the ward diary and keep it up to date
- Update and maintain knowledge of hospital services/facilities relevant to the unit
- Ensure all outpatient clinic lists have been received timely and the diary is kept up to date
- Admit and discharge patients on relevant systems
- Add booking forms and pre admit unplanned admissions
- To make bookings for consultant appointments and clinical investigations

**Skills & Experience**:

- Good verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Grasp basic medical terminology
- Teaching / training skills
- Customer care skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritising workload
- Punctuality
