Senior Tester, QA/Tester or Lead Test Engineer is required for an exciting opportunity within this Digitral Media client.

We are looking for a Junior-Mid Senior or Lead level QA Tester living locally to the Peterborough office to work Hybrid (2 days in office)

You will be working closely with the IT Manager, Development teams and wider business on the implemetation of test policies, processes and strategies so playing a key roles in standardising the QA/Test function.

Client is ready to interview, one stage process with immediate decision/offer

The client is unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this role.

**Your role will involve**:

- Finding defects through testing, reporting and resolving.
- Creating new test scripts to validate new functionality being added to the platforms
- Maintaining and updating existing test scripts as and when necessary
- Running the test scripts, recording evidence, documenting and reporting any issues found
- Providing estimates on the testing activities needed and timeframes
- Working with the Developers to help them recreate the issues and act as a point of contact
- Working with the Business Analysts to understand the requirements and support them where necessary
- Working with the end Business Users to understand how they use the platform and help troubleshoot Production issues
- Maintaining a strong relationship with Subject Matter Experts
- Attending Sprint planning and regular stand-ups during the sprint to participate in the planning process and update on work done and work left to do in the sprint

**We need you to have**:

- A solid background in QA/Test at a Senior level
- ISTQB Certified
- Experience of implementing new test strategies and processes
- Both Manual and Automation test experience
- Attention to detail in documenting and communicating
- Excellent communication and relationship skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Ability to interpret and analyse information
- Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
