**Optometrist - Professional Education Lead**

Flame Health are working with a leading ophthalmic business established over 20 years ago who have now developed in to Europes leading independent business in this space. They are now looking for a Professional education lead to join the team and help deliver their training and education to the UK optometry and ophthalmology space.

Education is a key pillar of my clients approach and they take pride in educating Health Care Professionals in Eye Care.

You will work closely with the Marketing Team to develop and update Product Presentations, communicating closely with Marketing and Sales Managers to ensure the key messages are being delivered appropriately to the relevant customer groups.

You will report to and work closely with the Head of Training to ensure ROI and that key priorities are met. There will be a requirement to carry out customer training. In addition, the role provides an opportunity to coach the team in delivering the expected Standard of Education.

You will build key customer relationships both internal and external and your key responsibilities will consist of:
- CPD Events-
- Webinars-
- Face to Face-
- School of Optometry Training-
- Podcasts & Other short Training modules Internal & External-
- Competitor overviews-
- Dry Eye Clinics-
- Key Account Education-
- Updating and creating Product Presentations, including new product launches, in line with key messagesEssential Skills required:
- BSc (Optometry)-
- Experience in Training & Educating-
- Optometry and Pharmacy Sales Experience-
- Understanding of GOS, CPD approvalThis role is field based so extensive travel in the UK can be expected. This role will require field work with the Sales Team, therefore a current UK driving licence is essential. There will also be the opportunity for International travel.
