We are working with a large well known Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit an Ocean Export Specialist, based near Heathrow.

You are responsible for the movement of products/equipment/materials out of the country, via ocean freight in accordance with organisational policy and procedures, and to comply with relevant local, country and international laws.

Provide 1st class customer service to customers on taking bookings, rates, document production, accounting, agent interaction and problem solving.

Role includes:

- Prepare/coordinate the necessary documentation for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all ocean export activities
- Coordinate cargo pick up/transfer.
- Communicate with export related authorities and customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries,
- Manage/update carrier/vendor rates.
- Communicate with overseas agents and clients in a timely manner
- Track Shipments and update customers/agents
- Responsible for customer invoicing and payables approval.

Experience needed
- Team Player
- 3-5 year's experience within similar position
- Additional languages are a plus
- Experience in freight forwarding industry
- Good Education

Monday to Friday
