The Dormant Distillery Company operates The Cigar Box one of Edinburghs longest-standing and most specialist tobacconists, located on the Royal Mile. Our shop offers a carefully curated selection of premium cigars, pipe tobaccos, and smoking accessories, providing our customers with expert guidance and an exceptional retail experience.

We are seeking a **Sales Assistant (Keyholder)** to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in cigars and specialist tobacconist products to be part of a small, passionate, and knowledgeable retail team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service Excellence**
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in making well-informed purchasing decisions.
- Offer product knowledge and tailored recommendations, with a focus on premium cigars, pipe tobaccos, and related accessories.

**Customer Engagement**
- Actively interact with customers to build rapport and deliver a memorable shopping experience.
- Share passion and knowledge about cigars and tobacco culture.

**Operational Duties**
- Open and close the store as a keyholder, ensuring security procedures are followed.
- Contribute to visual merchandising to maintain an appealing and well-presented store.
- Assist with stock management and maintain accurate inventory records.

**Events and Promotions**
- Support in-store promotions and events that showcase our products and attract new customers.

**Sales & Performance**
- Work with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the ongoing success of the store.

**Salary & Benefits**:

- Hourly rate**:£12.88**:

- 40 hrs Full-time position.
