We are looking for a multi-skilled and capable individual to manage our school site. As a School Site Manager, you will need to be reliable and have the ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities, whilst ensuring that the school site is maintained and all daily and routine work is carried out.

As School Site Manager you should have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience of working in a school as a caretaker or site manager
- Experience of strategic planning to ensure the site runs smoothly
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines in order to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and codes of practice
- Good practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and painting and decorating
- Ability to make small repairs

Working a split shift, you will be a key holder and will be expected to deliver the full range of caretaking, maintenance, and cleaning duties. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.

This is a varied and interesting role, and you must be able to work effectively as part of a team, think strategically, be friendly, approachable and have the ability to readily adapt to differing priorities and work well under pressure.

School Site Manager Responsibilities:

- Supervise the work of contractors
- Ensure that school premises are clean, safe, secure and accessible.
- Ensure that the school site is well maintained and meets health and safety requirements.
- Ensuring that the grounds are maintained to a high standard and monitoring grounds maintenance
