**Student Funding Officer**

35 HOURS PER WEEK

PERMANENT

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student Funding Department. We are seeking to recruit a Student Funding Officer to support the Student Funding Manager in carrying out the development, implementation and monitoring of student funding services.

**What You'll Do**:

- Engage with students and prospective students, offering personalised advice on funding opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance to student funding staff through clear and supportive communication.
- Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of payments to students and third parties.
- Compile statistical returns and provide regular reports to childcare providers and other agencies as required.
- Manage and update approved software systems efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- SCQF Level 8 qualification, such as an HND in a relevant discipline.
- Proven supervisory experience in a student funding environment.
- Deep understanding of student support needs.
- Proactive and supportive in interactions with students and staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
