The job role:
- Answering questions, resolving issues, and handling complaints. Expertly looking after customer needs across the business.
- First line call handling for inbound customer service and after-sales calls.
- Explain technical troubleshooting steps relevant to the end user’s specific requirements.
- Liaise with the Quality Department regarding complex technical product queries.
- Liaise with Carriers for delivery and consignment details.
- Complete weekly consumer satisfaction audits.
- Routine office tasks, post, reception, housekeeping, and other ad-hoc duties.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover across the customer service team.
- Occasional Order Processing.
Experience and Background Requirements
- Excellent telephone communicator. Ability to listen intently and to verbalise with clarity and confidence. For this reason, a clear and professional level of spoken English is essential.
- Must be friendly, helpful, and patient, with a demonstratable desire to help people, and proactive attitude to resolving issues and complaints.
- Experience of working within a customer service team, customer facing role, or within an environment where help and support is provided, is highly desirable.
- Top grades and/or of degree calibre, able to demonstrate critical thinking with a logical approach to processes and procedures.
- Punctual, professional, with a strong work ethic, and a commitment to understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office essential (Outlook, Word, Excel), Oracle & Salesforce would be useful.
- Able to work unaided and make quick decisions whilst remaining calm, professional, and maintaining high standards in a pressured and time sensitive role.
- Strong administration skills and a proven team player.
