We now have a truly unique opportunity for an established SHEQ Manager to come in to a growing, diverse yet established business where you will be in charge of the SHEQ across the board, influencing each part of the business. **The role**: As already mentioned, the role will be varied across the different business functions. To break this down, you will be based in Birkenhead in our production facility, where most of your work will take place. We also have an office "down south" that you willhave jurisdiction over, as well as field based engineers across the UK. Most of the role will be he H&S aspect, but around 20%-30% will be around the quality aspect, especially on the manufacturing side as well as the environmental aspects too. We really feel that improvements can be made in all aspects and so we would want you to come in and share your ideas with us. **The person**: We are looking for a proven professional for this role. A lot of the role is based around the manufacturing site in Birkenhead (so manufacturing experience is essential), but we also are looking for someone who maybe has some construction H&S experiencetoo. This is as the field based engineers are installing bits of equipment (sometimes in confined spaces and some civils work), so that would be a huge benefit. We also feel that there is a lot of room for improvement, so we are very much looking for someone to "tell us what to do", not the other way around.
