**DESCRIPTION**:
Eldon Housing is an established provider of Sheltered Housing and Facilities Management Services. We are proud to provide high standards of service to frail older people.

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistantwho is Passionate, Professional and Caring to be part of our team.

**The Role**:
You will work as part of an experienced and committed catering team, based in one of Croydon Councils residential care homes.You will be responsible for maintaining under general supervision of the Head Cook high standards of cleaning and hygiene in thekitchen, always ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation and basic food hygiene. In liaison with the Head Cook you will carry out the preparation and straight forward cooking and service of food.

**Key Skills and Experience**:

You will have catering experience in a commercial kitchen and be qualified to CIEH Level 2 Food Certificate (or equivalent).You will be able to follow instruction and be supportive of a charitable, caring organisations aims and values.
