I am looking for people to join a leading global healthcare company as a Homecare Specialist Pharmacist as a maternity cover.

The company work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical companies to provide a huge range of care services to more than 90,000 patients in the comfort of their own home, at work or in their community.

THE ROLE:

- Supervise and support the work of supporting pharmacy technicians,
- Dispensing within the regional business unit
- Screen prescriptions from customers to ensure that treatments prescribed are safe and effective.
- Ensure all formulations are stable and suitable
- Undertake statutory pharmacy duties
- To provide on call cover on a rota basis
- To act as the responsible pharmacist

THE CANIDDATE:

- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good team Leader
- Excellent customer care
- Further education e.g. Part 1 of the Clinical Pharmacy Diploma, MSc or equivalent. (desirable)
- Background knowledge of aseptic compounding (desirable)

The shift patterns will be Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm, 2pm to 10pm or 10pm to 6am. However, it is rare that cover for the night shift would be needed. Occasional on call may also be required at weekend on rotational basis.
