**Job Title**: Administrative Assistant
**Reports To**: Care Home Manager
**Job Purpose**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Care Home Manager.
- Maintain accurate and confidential resident, staff, and operational records in line with data protection policies (Training provided).
- Assist with staff rotas, training records, and recruitment administration.
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required.
- Support with invoicing, petty cash, and other basic financial administration.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, taking minutes where required.
- Maintain office systems including electronic filing and databases.
- Greet visitors, residents’ families, and external professionals in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure all administrative tasks comply with company policies and CQC regulations.
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Previous administrative experience, ideally in a care or healthcare setting (desirable).
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
- Professional, approachable, and discreet when handling sensitive information.
- Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.88 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
