**The Role**
We are currently seeking a **Workshop Operative** to join our team on Saturdays. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who is enthusiastic, keen to learn, and willing to get stuck in. A positive attitude and willingness to develop new skills are the most important qualities we are looking for.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assisting with all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing
- Supporting laser cutting and folding operations
- Assisting with CNC milling tasks
- Helping with gas purging processes
- Metal finishing, including pickling and preparation of finished components
- Manual handling of materials, including lifting and manoeuvring heavy items
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Following all health and safety guidelines at all times
- Ensuring work meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship

**About You**:

- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and willing to learn — **this is the most important requirement**:

- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing is **preferable** but not essential
- A good understanding of workshop health and safety practices is **preferable**:

- Physically fit, with the ability to safely lift and manoeuvre heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
