Barkers the florist is a large well established and fast paced florist and gift shop. This exciting opportunity will suit someone who loves a challenge and has the passion and determination to help drive the business and make the shop thrive. We currently operate with a team of 8 highly experienced and professional staff members and 1 very friendly black Labrador. The main responsibility is to assist with the day to day running of a large busy shop. florist experience is not essential but is preferred. start date for this role is as soon as possible. Responsibilities include:

- keeping the shop clean and tidy
- Administration
- Customer Service
- Delivery of flowers
- Manage the effective rotation of stock

Skills required:

- Motivated to work on your own
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff to achieve a harmonious workplace
- Developed flower knowledge (preferred)
- Efficiency for completing tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent organisational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Quick learner
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Good computer skills
- Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Well presented
