**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and adhering to dietary requirements.
- Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
- Support clients with activities and outings, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs and reports.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is an advantage.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 18 per week
