**Up to 32 hours per week, 36 weeks per year**

**Hours**: Flexible hours available (average working day: 6-7 hours)

**What you’ll do**:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work across a variety of settings including classrooms, kitchens, and workshops-providing vital support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. You’ll play a key role in helping them succeed in their studies and develop essential life skills, offering both academic and pastoral care. This includes:

- Building positive, supportive relationships with students
- Providing one-to-one and group support
- Assisting with personal care and administering medication where needed
- Promoting independence, inclusion, and confidence

**What we’re looking for**:
As a Learning Assistant, you will be empathetic, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to adapt to students’ individual needs. You’ll need:

- GCSE English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
- A calm and confident approach to managing behaviour (experience with challenging behaviour is a plus)
