**PLUS** is looking for full-time **Support Workers** to join our teams in **Sydenham, Lewisham and Southwark**. This is a **permanent full-time** role with an attractive salary of **£21,460 per annum plus other benefits & enhancements.**

**About us**:
We are a charity working with adults with Learning Disabilities whose behaviour can be challenging.Our specialised services in the community support these unique and engaging individuals to live a more active life. Our trained staff do this by using techniquesthey have been taught, like positive behavioural support, to guide and encourage individuals to better manage their behaviour and build more meaningful relationships.

If you are the kind of person who questions if things can be better and wants to make a difference for adult with learning disabilities, then the role of **Support Worker** at one of our services may be the job for you.

The role will require shift work (38 hours basic per week), sleep-in shifts and potentially waking night shifts.

**What we’re looking for in our Support Workers**:
We are looking for the right people, which could mean you’ve got experience working with adults with learning disabilities, or you may have done other things which mean you have the right balance of transferable skills, compassion, resilience and values.A qualification in Adult Care would be desirable.

Some people we support have physical disabilities and complex health needs as well as learning disabilities, so you will need to be physically capable of moving and handling adults who may be physically dependent.
