We're looking for a proficient and experienced **Optical Dispenser** (qualified or non-qualified) to lead our team and ensure excellence in both dispensing and customer service. We require someone expert in increasing revenue with strong communication and negotiation skills

**Position Summary**

As an experienced Optical Dispenser, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow, top-quality service, and high standards in optical product dispensing. You will play a key leadership role, optimising processes, and driving retail and clinical success.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise the team, ensuring high levels of customer service and technical excellence.
- Perform high-level optical dispensing, including frame selection, measurements, adjustments, and repairs.
- Maintain knowledge of latest lens technologies, frame trends, and product offerings.
- Collaborate with optometrist to ensure seamless patient care and prescriptions are accurately interpreted.
- Good understanding of GOS/NHS compliance
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain a well-stocked and appealing dispensary.
- Oversee visual merchandising and retail presentation.
- Train, mentor, and schedule staff.
- Monitor KPIs and drive sales goals without compromising patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all optical dispensing regulations and health and safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in optical dispensing.
- Strong communication, organisational, and people-management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- A customer-first, mind-set with a genuine passion for eye health and fashion.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, happy to work alone.
