Supply Chain Coordinator

We have served the global diagnostics industry for over 50 years and due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator (Procurement)to join our team. This is a permanent, full time position based at our facility in Sittingbourne.**

**Role Overview**

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing activities within the company’s supply and demand value stream, to enable the business to realise its commitments to both customers and suppliers. It involves supplier management, procurementand buying of goods and services, goods inwards receipt, through production planning and inventory management, to finished goods shipping to customers.

**Role Requirements**

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- To carry out all roles within Procurement as defined below.
- To proactively support cross-training within the team, across the different specialist functions.
- Provide cover and support for other team members as and when required.
- To adhere to the Company Health and Safety policy and report any unsafe conditions, equipment or practices immediately.
- To follow all company policies and procedures and work in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- To actively meet individual, team and company aims and objectives.
- Lead by example to display company core values at all times.
- Actively implement improvements to current practices within your own area of expertise and suggest improvement ideas for other areas. Proactively progress changes to fruition.
- Maintain procedures within your area of expertise to ensure they always reflect current practice.
- Continuously strive to develop depth of knowledge and expand existing skills.
- Raise and progress non-conformances, CAPAs and change controls to target due dates and liaise with Quality to extend dates and complete actions as required.
- Raise and progress customer complaints and supplier complaints as required.
- To conduct any other duties within the different specialisms, as requested by your Manager.
- Deputise for Supply Chain Manager as required.
- Highlight any issues that could delay customer shipments within the Daily Shipping meeting.

We are seeking an individual with previous experience in a Supply Chain role where CIPS/CPIM qualifications are desirable. To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent attention to detail, clear and concise written and verbal communicationskills and demonstrate effective teamwork.
