Recycling Operative

We’re looking for a reliable and efficient Recycling Operative to join our friendly team. You’ll be integral to the day-to-day operations of our environmental centre in our dairy factory.

This position operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Counterbalance FLT training provided.

**Recycling Operative responsibilities include**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the environmental centre, including waste collection, sorting, and disposal
- Implement and maintain recycling programs for various materials, including paper, plastic, glass, and organic waste
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards related to waste management and recycling
- Provide support to the warehouse team

**Recycling Operative requirements include**:

- Previous experience in waste management or recycling preferred
- Knowledge of waste segregation and recycling practices, as well as relevant regulations and standards
- GCSE Maths & English Equivalent
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and data entry

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£29,150.00 per year
