I am actively recruiting for a **COMMUNITY SAFETY AND SAFEGUARDING OFFICER** to join a well-respected Midlands based provider of care and housing. You will join an organisation who is a leading provider of housing, residential and supportedliving services for vulnerable adults and they have been a market leader in their sector for over 60 years. You will be required to manage a caseload of high-level complaints and work with local authorities and other community safety professionals to resolve conflict in the community. You will be an expert in Anti-Social Behaviour and act as a key point of contactfor customers within settings across**Birmingham, Sandwell and Dudley, South Derbyshire, and Shropshire.** This role will involve you providing a pro-active, anti-social behaviour service which includes investigative, enforcement and preventative activities. **You will**: " Provide specialist advice, guidance, and support in respect of ASB and in more complex case work " Develop appropriate responses and solutions to ASB in conjunction with internal and external partners and co-ordinate their implementation " Ensure a speedy and focused response to anti-social behaviour and other breaches of tenancy conditions " Take realistic, fast, and efficient action, supported by an effective action plan " You will have a sound knowledge of legislation and housing management practice relating to the management of ASB " A thorough understanding of the legislation available for tackling ASB and knowledge of the legal remedies available for breach of tenancy conditions **To be considered for this post, you MUST**: " Have a minimum of 2 years' experience within the social housing sector or local authority dealing with ASB and tenancy breaches " Have "street to court" experience " Hold a relevant qualification in community safety, crime, and nuisance management " Hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own vehicle and be flexible to commute to other area offices **In return, you will receive**: " A salary circa £27000 plus car allowance " Hybrid working model " Generous holiday package with the opportunity to sell or buy annual leave " Workplace pension " Access to Health Care Benefit Scheme " Access to Gym membership " Cycle to work Scheme " Eye care & Child Care Vouchers
