Restaurant Supervisor

The Whittling House is a delightful country restaurant with 10 characterful bedrooms. We provide a relaxed mixture of locally sourced, seasonal dishes, comfortable interiors with roaring fires all set back from stunning Alnmouth beach.

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a competitive salary PLUS a share of tips.

We are looking for experienced restaurant supervisors and head servers who love the buzz of a busy restaurant and are passionate about all things food and drink.

If you think that you can deliver a quality service, day in, day out, can keep a cool head in a fast-paced environment and are excited by the idea of helping establish The Whittling House as one of North Easts best restaurants then this is the challenge you have been looking for.

Essential requirements:

- At least one year’s experience in a similar role, serving high end food and drink
- Flexible and adaptable
- Strong passion for the industry and guest satisfaction
- Excellent knowledge of food and drink
- The ability to think on your feet and adapt
- Barista and bar experience is an advantage
- Being able to manage and work well with a team
