**The role**:
**Culinary Specification Executive**
Role purpose - provide specialist support to the development of menus, profiles and specifications for the food experience of all classes
**What you’ll do**:
To provide specialist support to the development of innovative menus and all service components by providing practical and hands-on support to suppliers and culinary team to ensure delivery of a consistent customer experience and the delivery of food which is outstanding as standard network-wide.
To track and report on compliance to British Airways standards and to support delivery of all aspects of the food offer as required.
Works directly with suppliers and teams to deliver the BA food vision, style and standards against clear plans and carries out regular checks of inbound / outbound food, reporting results, to ensure delivery is to specification.
Monitors and reports on product quality performance worldwide in regards to food delivery with detailed reports to build and drive delivery of improved consistency.
**What you’ll bring to British Airways**:
- Project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver tasks to agreed timescales
- Ability to work across teams and influence internally to deliver change
- Ability to produce detailed reports/analysis as tool for decision making
- Ability to analyse and interrogate data to support decision making
**Your experience**:
- A qualification in catering, hotel management or related field or relevant experience
- Experience in an airline in a leadership role and in-depth knowledge of the lifecycle of products
- Proficient in use of computers and related desktop programs (Word, MS Office, Excel)
