**About The Role**:
This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing company that really values their people. Managing and leading a team consisting of Operatives and Senior Operatives, you will lead the team to achieve objectives, working rotating shifts from 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday.

Working in a safe, accurate and efficient manner, you will manage and lead the Senior Operatives to achieve laid down objectives for the production area of the ACC which leads to overall achievement of the ACC function and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

- Being responsible for the output of a specific team and the quality of the work produced
- Being responsible for all Health & Safety matters in the production area as well as for staff management, performance management / development / absence management / recruitment / retention / discipline / team briefing
- Being responsible for resource planning and utilisation including budgetary planning and control via means of headcount and performance
- Taking responsibility for providing cover and co-operation with all other departments / sectors of ACC
- Championing continuous improvement within the operation deploying the appropriate methodology

About you

The ideal Production Team Leader will be/have:

- Working knowledge of production processes
- Staff management competence
- Basic IT skills including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- In depth knowledge of WMS/SAP and production systems
