We are recruiting for an individual to join our busy Estates Team as soon as possible. The actual starting salary for this role is £19,010.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and diligent applicant who will make a positive contribution to the presentation of the School buildings and grounds to staff, students, parents and the wider public.

The Estates Team Member role is a key post in respect of the general maintenance, cleanliness, safety and security at the School. During quiet hours and holidays the post holder will represent The King’s School on site and as such they will be expected to maintain the very highest standards of personal turnout, conduct and attention to detail.

The role requires that the post holder is able to work flexible hours to accommodate early and late days but generally the working day is likely to be 9.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and as this post is considered to be ‘regulated activity’, a check through the Disclosure and Barring Service including the children’s barred list.

Successful applicants must be familiar with, and comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection and promote the welfare of students.

The start date for this position is as soon as possible.
