Tate Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established Property Organisation, based in London, to recruit for an Account Advisor. This role is short term due to it being sickness cover.
The main purpose of the role will be to Manage the prevention and recovery of rent arrears, service charges and other debts for all tenure types (to include but not limited to Rent accounts, homeowner accounts, sundry accounts)
The Role

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out tasks adhering to all timescales and controls set out in the Rent Arrears Policies and Procedures to minimise/reduce both the number of cases and value of those in arrears to achieve local targets and objective.
- Carry out the full range of tasks as required by the Service Charge Arrears Policies and Procedures, including liaising, and negotiating with Solicitors and Mortgage Providers.
- Carry out arrears enforcement that includes:

- Take the lead on and attend court ensuring all paperwork and associated protocols have been completed, to ensure the best outcome.
- Take the lead on and represent Hyde at Tribunal Hearings relating to service charge recovery, preparing tribunal bundles, liaising with, and coordinating the Home Ownership Team, Service Charge Team, and other PFI sub-contractors.
- Prepare eviction reports in accordance with Policy and Procedure and attend evictions as required.
- Liaise with the local authority to agree appropriate enforcement action for Service Charges where agreement to pay cannot be reached with the leaseholder.
- Take the lead on responding back to all resident correspondence regarding the management of their account and ensure they are resolved in a manner that improves overall customer satisfaction/experience. Record any dissatisfaction in accordance with PFI complaintspolicy and procedure.
You will need to have previous Income Officer experience or worked in a similar role within property management, to be considered for this role.
