**Full Time - 37.5 hours per week**

**Required to work on a rota basis, Monday - Sunday; over 3 - 5 days per week, including early/late or double shifts; 8:00am-3:30pm, 2:30pm-10:00pm or 8:00am-10:00pm; sleep-in’s also available. On-call will be covered by the Senior Management Team on a rota basis.**

**Role Overview**:
We are recruiting for dedicated and ambitious **Senior Support Workers** for our Adult Residential Service in Formby, where you will support adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) to promote independence and support them with rehabilitation to lead fulfilling lives, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities.

Overseeing Support Workers, our **Senior Support Workers** ensure the support team work in accordance with care plans for the people we support. Day to day role of senior includes; delegation of tasks to the team, administration of ordering, receiving and administration of medication, handling finances, communication with multidisciplinary teams such as GP’s, therapists, social work teams.

Our **Senior Support Workers** are required to have a sound experience of supporting people with varying care needs, and are familiar with leading a team and managing responsibilities of the teams record keeping along with supervising the team on a daily basis and bi-monthly supervision. Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southport, Merseyside: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Worker / Care Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- care supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
