From outsourced infrastructures to e-procurement and product support, they have a strong track record of driving down operating costs and creating more efficient ways of working. Service Designer Up to £50,000 + bonus + excellent package Working from home with occasional travel (south) As a Service Designer, working for this established and exciting organisation, you will interact with internal teams related to the pre-sales to onboarding of managed services such as R&D, Sales, Service Transition and Service Operations to provide an interface between Sales and Services. You will be providing high level design assistance and so you will have come from a service design background, happy to engage with customers, understanding and creating solutions. You will also: - Ensure all requirements are passed over clearly and the blueprinted service is presented in such a way that Transition can deploy simply and effectively, on time and in budget - Produce service designs in the form of high level and low level Service Design Packages (SDP) covering what is required to deliver, operate and manage the Services offered to the customer - Delivering, operating and managing customer solutions such as Incident, Problem, Event, Change, Capacity, Availability, Asset and Configuration, Service Level Management and Request Fulfillment, etc - Design and document how the customer solution will be monitored, maintained, reported and to what service levels the service will deliver - Detail the invoicing and contract management procedures for bespoke services - Provide an escalation/information and assistance point for Service Transition for service design questions - Attend Service Design & Transition department meetings to provide updates on new Product Design roll outs and pipeline of upcoming work - Liaise closely with the R&D team to understand new service streams, how they are designed, transitioned, operated and managed About you You will come from an MSP background, and this will allow you to effectively understand how to work multiple services. It would also be advantageous if you have a technical background. To be considered for this position you will: - Have ITIL Foundation as a minimum and ideally Intermediate qualifications including Service Design - Have advanced Microsoft Office knowledge - Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio - Have a background in IT Managed Service Provider industry, with proven experience of the Sales to Service lifecycle - Have excellent communication skills including presentation skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly and simply both at a technical and business level - Proven ability at producing high quality documentation and proposals - Ability to manage several large projects simultaneously, taking full ownership and management of the planning and execution of service design activities - Confidence to work with and present to both customers and internal colleagues on a one-to-one basis and with larger groups Not only will you be working with a leading, Global company with the opportunity to really excel and grow, you will work with people who inspire you.
