Due to ever-increasing demand in our client's services, they are seeking a dynamic Manual Skills Training Adviser, to join their high-performing Career Development Services department.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**

The organisation is an inspiring social enterprise who is aiming to create success and opportunity within the community.

The Chamber is a unique organisation, private-sector led not-for-profit, that works with local businesses, partners and the community to contribute to growth and regeneration.

They are seeking a Manual Skills Training Adviser who has demonstrable experience of dealing with a wide range of client groups; these could include young people (16-24) long-term unemployed adults, clients facing redundancy, single parents, Armed ForcesVeterans, Refugees and Asylum Seekers. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality session within a Construction programme across a range of contracts including AEB and ESFA provision. You will need to be flexible in your communication due to diversityof the client groups.

Quality is at the heart of their offer, so you will need to be able to display a track record of accuracy and compliance throughout your career. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to ensure that contract compliance is met at all times.

You will be based at the Construction Training Centre, Fleet Lane, Parr, St Helens, WA9 2NB. Occasionally you will enjoy the variety of engaging directly with the local communities at their premises.

Additionally you will be responsible for employer engagement so that the young people on the Traineeship Programme can achieve a meaningful work experience opportunity.

You will be joining the UK’s leading Chamber of Commerce, a unique organisation with a long and successful history.
- Minimum of a Level 3 Construction occupation qualification
- Minimum AET/PTLLS teaching qualification
- A target-driven approach
- Experience of 1-1/group delivery
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients from all manner of backgrounds
- Useful contacts within the industry would be beneficial

**Ideally you will also possess the following or be willing to work towards**:

- Knowledge of ESFA/AEB funding streams
