We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Arts worker to deliver visual arts sessions across Surrey.
**What do you need to be a successful Community Arts Worker at Activate Learning?**
As a community arts worker, you would be leading visual arts sessions for adult asylum seekers and refugees on Mondays at the Creative Response Arts Centre in Farnham. The goal of these sessions is to support learners wellbeing, confidence and resilience, while equipping them with life skills.
Because of recent events our team have identified a particular need for delivery to Ukrainian refugees, and part of this role is connecting with community groups and relevant charities to build a network and relationships with them.
**About you**:
You may be an experienced Art teacher looking for something different or someone with extensive skills and experience but no formal teaching qualification, but the most important attribute we’re looking for is a passion for teaching and creating engaging lessons for learners.
You’ll need to be comfortable building networks and working across educational, charity and community groups.
