Security Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a **Security Officer** to work within our **Unilever Port Sunlight Campus, Wirral, CH62 4XN**

This position requires a proactive customer focused individual with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.

This person needs to be a forward thinker with a methodical approach, exceptional planning and excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to cope when being challenged.

**What you’ll do**:

- Enforcement of the site rules and standards including Housekeeping, Security and Health & Safety to visitors and occupants.
- Provide high levels of customer service to contractors, visitors and occupants of the site.
- Access control (Visitors/Contractors/Deliveries)
- Carry out Stop and Search, (Vehicle/Personnel)
- CCTV Monitoring.
- CCTV routine operations.
- Checking materials leaving site are correctly authorised.
- Control entry to site vehicles and pedestrians
- Emergency Rules followed in accordance to the security function
- Emergency situations dealt with and reported through to the relevant stakeholders
- Investigate thefts and send reports to the relevant stakeholders
- Inspection of fence line and general site surroundings on a regular basis
- Lone workers monitoring.
- First Aid Responsibilities.
- Maintenance of records and log books
- Follow assignment instructions
- Monitoring of site plant, intruder & fire alarms.
- Operation of site communication equipment.
- Opening and monitoring of all gates.
- Site Patrolling and reporting.
- Unlock and lock of ad hoc areas when requested.

**What you bring**:
**Essential**:

- SIA Security Officer Licence

**Desirable**:

- First Aid Qualified
- AED Qualified
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication at all levels
- Pro-active attitude
- Good customer service record

Package Description
- **Security Officer,**:

- **_Summer roster - two days & two nights on / four days off, with 3 x 18 day break built in._**:

- **_Winter Roster - two days & two nights on / six days off_**:

- **A full SIA Licence and valid driving license is essential**:

- **£13.69 per hour + Sodexo Benefits.**:
