Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver( Monday to Friday )

We have a new position for an additional team member in our busy warehouse in Burscough.

The role is a Full time position, 5 days per week - Hours 07.30 to 17.30 with 2 x paid 15 Minute + 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

You'll need a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail and the ability to work under your own initiative and unsupervised. Applicants must be literate and numerate and you must be able to communicate at all levels.

Role and Responsibilities
- Performing order picking, packing, counting and general warehouse housekeeping
- Vehicle loading & unloading
- Inventory Control
- Matching picking and packing lists with actual products
- Pack and mark stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or other labelling equipment
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean and tidy
- Remove and dispose of all rubbish within appropriate recycling bins daily
- Keep storage of stock organised and tidy
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT Literate
- A Good level of fitness, as will require heavy lifting at times
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently
- FLT / Reach Truck experience essential. No need to be currently certified, this will be done following successful probationary period

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
