**£45,000 - £50,000**
**The opportunity**
Working for a market-leading, high-growth and acquisitive Group, this Group Accountant role will give you the chance to gain experience of complex consolidations and IFRS accounting. There will be opportunities to get involved in more commercial aspectsof finance too and the very real prospect of career progression in the future as well.
**Typical responsibilities**
- Overseeing the month-end consolidation and financial reporting processes
- Providing insight and reporting on variances by partnering with budget-holders
- Preparing work to support acquisition activity
- Supporting with the preparation of corporation tax provisions, external filings and tax projects.
- Preparing month-end commentary and the Group's quarterly and annual reporting
- We'd like you to be a qualified accountant
- It's important you have a strong IFRS technical background
- Some experience of consolidations and providing IFRS accounting advice
- Good stakeholder-management skills and a great communicator
- Proficient with Excel
