**Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, AzureDevOps, Powershell)**

**£85,000 - £95,000 + Annual Bonus**

**Fully Remote**

A globally recognised powerhouse of a bank with over 30,000 employees worldwide is currently looking to extend the cloud engineer team who are responsible for their brand new payment platform. They are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to jointheir well-established DevOps team. This role will report into the Vice President and is the most senior role in the DevOps team, taking the lead of future and ongoing projects.

The Lead DevOps Engineer will have a significant impact on leading the brand new payment product, as they will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient deployment and operation of the product, as well as continuously improving its performance andreliability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading the development and implementation of the DevOps strategy for the product.
- Collaboration with development and operations teams to design and implement infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Automating the build, test, and deployment process for code changes.
- Managing and maintaining the infrastructure for the product.
- Ensuring the availability, scalability and security of the product or project.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the DevOps team.

**Skills Required**:

- 5+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- The ability to design and develop in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
- Able to build Kubernetes clusters (AKS) and be involved in the architectural side of containerisation.
- Be capable of working with developers to ensure smooth continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Deploying a variety of Azure services including App Services, Front Door, and Azure SQL.
- Experience in an object orientated programming language would give you an advantage.
