Production Planner

**Basic Purpose and Function**
Under the supervision of the Planning Manager. Production Planner is responsible for scheduling all of the product coming through manufacturing and assembly. All factory works orders will be created in line with Contract Review & forecast demands.

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for scheduling all product in Production & Assembly.
- Issues works orders and prepares hose tagging information as required.
- Works with Procurement to ensure materials will be available as required to execute the plan.
- Works with Dataright and manufacturing database to ensure correct product and certification.
- Schedules R & E development assemblies.
- Reviews Purchase & Sales Orders ensuring correct parts and materials are used.
- Receive orders from sales and review the contract.

**Skills** (manual, self expression, planning, organizing)
- Knowledge of planning & scheduling within a manufacturing environment and use of relevant systems-based tools to support function.
- High degree of organisation skills
- Computer literate and competent in all MS Office packages
- Good communicator
Education/Experience (Minimum required)
- Will have relevant experience within manufacturing in a comparable planning function.
