**Job Overview**
As a Senior Carer, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This position involves working with clients in various settings, including hospitals, social environments and their own home. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for those you care for by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

**Duties**
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and documentation standards.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, particularly those dealing with dementia or terminal illnesses.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Participate in case management meetings to discuss client needs and adjustments to care plans.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Complete competencies, spot checks and supervisions with the carer's.
- Undertake client assessments and reviews inline with CQC regulations.
- Support community carer's within their role.
- Take part in on call as part of the senior team.
- Office duties to meet the needs of the business.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
- Experience in domiciliary home care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to caregiving roles.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Proficient in first aid techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with clients suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Be able to work fulltime and every other weekend.
- Must hold a full UK license essential.

Pay: £12.97-£13.74 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
