Senior Sales Administrator role with good career progression potential with amanufacturer of premium quality products and components to a wide range of manufacturing industries. **BASIC SALARY**: £22,000 - £28,000 **BENEFITS**: - Pension Scheme - Company Sick Pay - Death in Service Benefit - 25 Days Holidays plus stats **LOCATION**: Ashbourne **COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS**: Mackworth, Derby, Uttoxeter, Belper **JOB DESCRIPTION**: Senior Sales Administrator This is a visible and important role for the company being the senior internal/ office based sales administration person working closely with the Sales Manager. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Senior Sales Administrator - Complete sales order processing from start to finish. Dealing with all aspects of the order process and ensuring a high level of service throughout. - Scheduling orders with production agreeing (calculating run times and negotiating acceptable delivery dates). - Raising orders, sending acknowledgements and ensuring agreed dates are met. - Raising Job Sheets & Tabs for production. - Advising the Customer &/or the Account Manager if an order is running behind schedule so that said customer can be informed promptly. - Maintaining customers portfolios, contact details and pricing. - Updating invoice summary with orders raised. - Answering general sales enquiries re lead time, changes to orders and available stock etc.... - Monitoring margins on orders raised and escalating any pricing which falls below 10% (maybe even 15%). - To submit a weekly report on any order/product raised under 15% margin. **PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Senior Sales Administrator To be considered you will: - Have experience in a similar Sales Administrator, Sales Order Processor or Customer Service role with a strong administrative content. - Preferably this will be in an industrial or technical environment with the ability to learn about a wide range of products and technical information. - Be an organised team player with excellent interpersonal skills to deal with decision makers at clients and internal personnel. - Have excellent attention to detail. **THE COMPANY**: Established for over 35 years, my client has £4m+ annual turnover and 50 staff. Part of their growth plan is to diversify into and grow new markets. **PROSPECTS**: Potential to assume responsibility for managing the internal sales/admin function for the company.
